RCV90-sp It fits in the cowl and swings a huge prop for a much more scale appearance.
I built an F6F for a customer and talked him into this engine for his plane, it was a very scale little Sky Shark kit. The plane got finished, that was 5 or 6 years ago. It seems the fellow is so taken with how nice it is the plane has never been flown!! The RCV was a perfect choice/fit and the muffler was almost completely cowled and couldn't be noticed. To this day I still have never seen this engine fly any plane. I have seen the 1.20 running but the plane never left the ground. These engines are a perfect fit for warbirds and with the gear drive toss huge props. I would like to see at least one plane fly with one though. A very cool engine and cool/strange design.
