<div>opjose- I am looking to buy a close friend of mine an electric jet. he's into flying turbines and the occasional electric deducted fan jet, so i thought i would get him one to mess around with and fly for fun and not have to worry about (due to the high costs of turbines). I hope this cleared up what i am looking for. thanks guys.</div>
Ah, got it. I believe I was correct in assuming that there was more to this question...
Given his experience with actual turbine engines, he might be better off with something like this:

This will be much closer to what he is used to and more satisfying for someone normally flying the "big boys".
However be aware that these are ARF's that will require power systems, fans, etc.
The downside is the work and expense putting one of these together.
The upside is a much larger, more powerful ( and faster ) plane that handles pretty much like a large turbine jet.
It is still MUCH cheaper than a kerosine powered jet.
Since it is likely he's put together Turbine Jets before, dealing with something like this might be somewhat trivial for him.
The foamies are more suited to pilots of lower skill level(s), though they can be enjoyable even for the pilot who already has his Jet Waiver certificate.
