Default RE: Template heaven!

Brian,

No... no question in my mind about ''cheating''. Just wanted to clarify, since there was such emphasis on ''you get what's on the plans''. I was hoping that even though the plans may only show a root and tip, that a full set of templates would be possible.

ChiefK
Definitely possible.

The emphasis on "you get what's on the plans" relates to the fact that most templates hand drawn on plans are probably inconsistant with a perfectly symetrical wing. There will be slight inconsistancies. I have been told the Daddy Rabbit ribs are WAY OFF. These would be an example of a set of templates I would want to adjust to make correct. The same would go for something like a Goldberg Extra set of ribs. These are cut WAY OFF. The tip rib doesn't even seem to be the correct rib for the kit.

Thanks. Personaly, I'd prefer to use 1/16 sheeting. But, other opinions may differ. I don't think it would be too difficult to change it either.
