Hello, Janet. I'm sure that you will have guys falling all over themselve to help you. There aren't too many ladies that hang out on this board (or any other model airplane board, for that matter).

If its foam, you can paint it. Spray cans or an airbrush will apply paint sparingly and will add some, but not a lot, of weight. Testor's or Tamiya paints should work fine. Test you paint on a piece of scrap first to make sure it is compatible. There are also acrylic spray paints and water soluable paints (often from craft stores of crafts section of big dept stores) that will work OK as well.
