If the plane changes heading (roll) during inside & outside loops, you will need to mount the servo on the side.
I usually try to mount the elevator servo (especially with Y-pushrod) on the side using JR Aileron servo tray.

Both you and Taurus Flyer have convinced me to go ahead and try to mount the elevator servo on its side, but it presents some challenges. See photos. There is not much room to do this. The distance from the top of the present elevator servo and the edge of the wing saddle is about 3/16" or 4.76mm, also it should not interfere with the rudder servo. See photos. I will probably need to relocate the receiver as you can in the photos. I am open to your suggestions as I don't want to make a mistake and have to try to put things back the way they were.
