Your point is well taken. True we do not live under a dictatorship and when we use the term to explain our current situation, it is an exaggeration and seems insensitive to those who actually live under one but to try and curb or censor someone from saying something that may insult or offend another person or group is in itself dictatorial. As this country in particular becomes more and more politically correct, we are going to slowly lose our right to free speech. Individuals and groups now feel they have the "Right" to not be offended and then when they are, they expect apologies and firings. Oh and BTW, I think we should stop worrying how we "look" to the rest of the world but that's just my opinion.
