HL Pershing w/DBCRC2 firing problem
Hey all,
I've been running a HL Pershing using the DBCRC2 (using an FM radio/receiver) for quite a while now. I've been truly impressed on how little problems I have with it in terms of parts coming off (just one of the return roller outer wheels... which I CA there on the spot and I'm back in action) and it's truly a beast. However, I do have one problem that has been plaguing me with this tank. For some odd reason, it has a tendancy to fire on its own. I've tried lowering the trim tab and recaliberating etc., but once it seems to either warm up or after a couple of battles, I notice it doing this. This can be fatal in battling as I have to wait 9 seconds to reload again plus there always the danger of shooting your comrad while following them down a road etc. Could it possibly be RF generated from the motors perhaps? Or maybe even heat?
I'm just curious if anyone else has ever had this problem. The HL board is an RX-13 I believe but again, the tank runs really good... even in the heat here at DAK!
Thx all,
Dave
