I bought a Trainer 40 kit years ago and finally finished it about ten years later. I came out of a loop (at high speed) and the stabilizer fluttered and broke the right stabilizer at the filet joint. I was still able to land as the covering kept the half of the stab from falling off. I reglued the half of the stab to the fusealage using epoxy and fiberglass. Then the next few flights the other half of the stab broke off. I glassed it also and the plane still flies great. I just try to avoid high speed dives!
