RE: Contra Rotating Propeller Drive for f3a 2m Pattern Planes
Hi guys, Brenner has started to ship the contra drive units and mine just arrived today and it looks awesome. Everything is nicely boxed up in a small package and they thought of everything from the carbon mounting plates, extra grease and 19 pages of directions. There are two options to mount the motor regarding the isolators, Budd or lords mounts, I will be using the Budd mounts because they seem to fit into the nose of the Spark better. Here are several pictures of the parts just out of the box, the contra drive unit still in the box and some initial assembly of the gear-case housing assembly to the Neu motor. They have not finished with the props yet but if they look as nice as the contra unit the will be works of art. Now to the fun part and try and get this into the plane.
