BLW, I'm not so sure on your theory about the ID of the fuel line. The fuel is regulated by the hole in the spraybar, and thats smaller than the ID of the line.
I use small fuel line on most of my motors, and most are fuel PIGS (3-4 ounces of 15% per minute) and the small ID is not an issue. There may be a backpressure issue however, but the line is plenty big enough to deliver enough fuel to the motor.
