I'll have to try that. Both of my tanks hav been throwing tracks bad lately. Heck. I'm gonna go do it right now
Are you throwing tracks all the time or just in soft dirt and/or snow? One of the drawbacks of HL tanks is the lack of a tensioner system. Many of us build our own or add aftermarket items. Removing a link or two is always a viable option. If the track is too tight with one link less and two loose with it in you can try trimming down the ilder a little to decrease its diameter. Do not trim too much so as to cause the teeth to bind or bottom out. Stiffer springs or clocking the first and last springs can tighten up the tracks. Tight track will settle down a little as the srings get increased use with run time. Many JPs are "bottomed-ouit" in the front already. It is very commong on the metal gearbox tanks. The lower hull floor should be parallel ot the ground.
