Hey Tommy. Pat Cole and I started the Riverside Fliers. I so miss flying out at the Annex. They don't allow anyone out there anymore. I just recently moved back here and that was a bummer. I actually make the drive to Waco to fly at TMAF with Todd Blose and Max and others. We do have a very nice field here out in Wixon Valley (about 7 miles East on 21 of Hwy 6). The problem with that is the owner's house is right behind the tree line so Ican't fly out at 150 meters as I'd fly over his house and he likes guns. I have been invited to fly out at Texas World Speedway as often as I'd like. I can use the infield no problem as it's a 2 mile oval. I've done it once with the Passport and will have to if I plan on practicing more than 2 days per week...which I do. I do so miss the Annex though. Even the aviation students doing the "final project" at A&M are bringing their flying designs out to the Wixon Valley field as they aren't even allowed to fly there anymore. I wish something could be done.
