Painting Question??
Hi,
So, after my fruitless search for a rattle-can flat clear, I decided to try spraying an automotive urethane. I got a kit from Tri-City Paints (along with a KICK-BUTT deal on a new airbrush that was missing two of the ten nozzle attatchments) that includes the supposedly dead-flat urethane clear coat, the catalyst and reducer. I also got one of those cheap compressed-air spray bottles in case I can't find a friend close by with a good gun. My question is this... Anyone anticipate an issue using automotive urethane over Krylon? Of course, I'll do a test piece first, but I've done those before where the test went fine and the paint when terribly awry. I used to use "Defthane", "Minwax" and "Varithane" polyurethane sprays over krylon without incident back in the Combat Models days. What do you think? TIA.
