I don't have a loop in any of my gassers. I just put a plug in my vent hose when I turn mine upside down for anything. But being that I always defuel mine before coming home i don't have a big issue with it. Either way is fine. Am getting ready to put a Waco together with a DLE 30 that I might do a loop for the vent just to try and see the difference.
