I believe the question was, ''Does the Ultra Sport qualify as a classic pattern ship now?'' The answer is ''No''. And it never will. Why? Because it was never a patternship in the first place, but instead was and is a low wing equipped sport plane.

Sorry, but you gotta draw the line somewhere. Now it shares some similarities with a few classic pattern designs and it IS a great flyer. So why worry about a few words? Of course, if you spent a thousand dollars on an elite brushless electric motor and several hundred dollars per battery pack, the SPA might let you fly it...
