ok got the thrust bearings in the mail today.fit very well between the upper and lower clamps and aluminum block that holds the gear in place. not very visible in the pics but they do a nice job. ..so here is the nose gear installed....note that the install of the servo and the steering arm goes across.....that allows for the maxium throw without having to cut relief slots into the bulkheads....simple geometry but effictive....had to put a little thought into the gear steering arm.had to make that from scratch. . made that out of 1/8 aluminum....very light and strong...tested the gear turning and it is very easy to turn....very little load on the servo...access will be from a screw on hatch from the bottom for maintence if needed
