Default Smoking Firebird

Hi together,

Well, over the winter months I spent some thoughts on the possibility to install a smoke system to my JMP Firebird.
I came to the conclusion that it is doable on my personal one since I have a just barely transparent canopy !
As usual, I found the stuff required at some well known US-suppliers :

-customized kevlar tank ( around 55oz ) from jettech ( Gary Mueller )
-embeded UAT from JMP ( Tom Cook )
-brushless smoke pump ( running at 6V directly from the weatronic receiver ) from Chance Harris

The install was easily accomplished and now I hope that the Super-dry will vaporize nicely even though I inject at the end of the thrust pipe !
The two stainless steel tubes (4mm) are routed between the inner and outer walls of the thrust tube to get some preheat to that fluid.
Furthermore I am pretty convinced that my AMT Olympus fills this thrust tube with a lot of hot gas when beeing above 50% power !

Only inflight experience will tell the final verdict !
I keep you informed about this

regards
Hans
