Another way to charge your 1.2 nicad is with your glow- stick charger. My Kadet taildragger was powered with an RCGH 20cc, and while it performed fantastic aerobatics, I was quite reluctant to stress that big wing with some of the pullouts required. I am downsizing to an OS80 FS, so I can toss it around more. I used the Dubro landing gear, unknown wheel pants and a Dubro scale tailwheel with a pull-pull set up actuated by a mini servo in the tail (you only need the tail wheel to taxi).
