If that fix's it throw the AM one in the garbage and pick up a 2.4ghz radio.
Flysky 2.4s are pretty good and cost $20 from hobbypartz shipped. I use one in my Jammin X1 CRT, and use the multi-model flyskys in 12 or so (don't feel like counting) other RC's
