CRT X1, stock tx and rx, all fresh charged batteries, Futaba S9451 throttle, Airtronics 94161 steering... Both servo's chatter at the same rate to the point where it's impossible to run smoothly, it either dies or goes nuts... Need a little help on this one... Suggestions? All wiring and switch seems to be intact and functioning properly. It's been sitting for a few months but I wouldnt think that would be an issue. They've always chattered a little but not to this extent.

I'm guessing that your radio is not a DSM 2.4ghz system. If so, your probably getting interference.

try another radio with the servos IMO
If that fix's it throw the AM one in the garbage and pick up a 2.4ghz radio.
Flysky 2.4s are pretty good and cost $20 from hobbypartz shipped. I use one in my Jammin X1 CRT, and use the multi-model flyskys in 12 or so (don't feel like counting) other RC's

Sometimes metal geared servos get damaged in a crash. Then the metal gears rub loosely and cause EMI which can cause glitching.
So both servos chatter? Temporarily disconnect one and see if the other stops chattering. If not, plug it back in and disconnect the other servo.
If it's not the servo, you can check the receiver if you have a spare.
As it was working before, a crash may have caused the trouble. Look for chafed or pinched wiring.
A wonky ON-OFF switch has caused more trouble..... Try plugging the battery directly into the Rcvr and see what happens.
I hate it when Instruction Manual troubleshooting merely says "check the batteries", but do it anyway. And remove them and look for corrosion in the battery holder as well.
Now here's a silly one....got ABS on your radio? Sure it's not somehow set ON all the time?
Anyway, try some things and then let us know what you've tried and we maybe we can think of a few more things to try.
EDIT: Ooops...missed where you said new fresh charged batteries.

Yes, it's likely a screwy RX.
Your radio doesnt have it, but ABS....anti-lock brakes. I'ts kind of weird to set up ABS and I could see it coming on.
Hope you like the Flysky....if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's a very inexpensive 2.4GHz system with really inexpensive receivers. I'm thinking of getting one and a bunch of spare Rx's so I use one radio for all my vehicles.

yes it has a fail safe built in
Make sure you read how to set it, and test it first.
Read a post where a guy had his RC go flying into a brick wall when his batteries died or he dropped the remote (forgot which it was but it was awhile ago) due to not setting it

I also have a remote failsafe that works flawlessly I might decide to use if the one in the Flysky can be disabled. Can you run two??

If I remember it right the flysky will not work with any other failsafe.
