RE: Really need help with plane selection!!!!
I cant comment on your experience level with respect to the airplanes you are moving to. However, I have a Phoenix Extra 330s which I am about to setup. I have seen and flown the Phoenix Yak 60" which is exactly the same airplane and it will barely hover with a 91FX / 95AX 2c. So I am setting up with a 120ax. A collegue of mine has the same airplane witha 120ax and he is currently testing a huge 18x6 prop with which it hovers at 40% throttle.
Likewise, the Seagull Edge will require atleast a 90 size 2c to barely hover. I am not sure its a 3D airplane.
At your experience level and a 91 4c, I suggest a smaller airplane. Have a look at the Reactor 46, UCD 60, H9 Frenzy , H9 Showtime, H9 Funtana x50 etc. These will be best for a 3D setup to transition from sports to 3d i.e. learn the airplanes with the low throws and sports setup and progress gradually towards 3D. Just remember to reinforce everything, especially the LG block and firewall. If you want to quickly get into 3D and get something more rugged and easy to repair and dont mind the profile look, you should get a Mojo40 for that engine
