I remember going down to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands where they had a bunch of Grumman Widgeon flying boats to fly passangers from island to island. The planes were so old and leaky that as soon as the planes landed, they had to taxi up the ramp on to dry land to keep from sinking. It was fun to watch them take off though.
According to the local scuttlebutt, this was called ''Maureen O'Hara Airlines'' because she and her husband owned them.
The only reason that I asked about your B-Variant was because I have a model D aand might convert it to a Model B/C with the optional add-on kit that I have. I was curious if you had that same add-on but obviously yours is a slightly different vintage than mine is.
