Default RE: Testing prototype sound card

Tamiya speakers seem to give the best bass response. I could hook up a Tamiya speaker to this, but I stayed away for upgrading too much, as this is supposed to be a stock Heng Long with the sound card. However, yes I agree the better quality speaker you can put in this the better the sound will be reproduced. This has stock HL gears as well, so you have that rattle to contend with, but like Philipat stated, this is a stock tank. I didn't want to add a $50 speaker, and $100 set of gears and then claim that is what you can expect to hear if you buy this card. I obviously would recommend the best speaker, and the quietest set of gears you can get, but reality is reality. If you buy this sound card and hook it up to a Stock Heng Long, this is what you will get.

I will plug in a Tamiya speaker and demonstrate it with that later today. I also have a Ford V8 sound file that I can upload in this. Perhaps this diesel sound is not quite ready for prime time I put this together last night, but maybe I need to fine tune it a bit. I can tell you this sound file was made from Russian V12. With these sound cards , the sound file is a big part of how good the result is. I could add some more bass and see what happens.

What you guys think and say is important, as this is the prototype.

Thanks
