Ahh that's the problem with warbirds. The matt paint will not come clean once it has been covered with the black oil. but not to worry, in this case, It's a good bit of "real" weathering

It's still well short of the the 10 liter mark, but It's almost ready to go flying again so we'll see how we go. We have both meen quite happy and impressed with the engine.
