Default RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA

ORIGINAL: panhndl

I had earlier stated I was going to put this engine in a Great Planes Super Sportster, but I couldn't wait till June for it to arrive. I changed my order to a Great Planes Giant Big Stik and have almost finished the build. I'm having one issue though.

For balance, I need my reciever/engine pack towards the front, but this will not allow the battery to be more than 8 inches from the ignition. I'm running the SAP Ultra IBE off my landing gear channel so I don't have a separate battery for rx and ingition. I'm running a 6.0V 4500 mAh NiMH receiver pack (http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...dID=SPMB4500NM). I was curious if anyone had some advice. I think the pack will be about 4.5 inches from the ignition in my current set up, but the rx will be plenty of distance away.

Thoughts?
If you have a late model radio (from Y2K to present day) on 72 MHz it will work fine. Of course any 2.4 Gig will have no problems at all
