I ran 2 recievers in my 1/3 scale spacewalker, just for reliability reasons... I've never had anythign get to a reciever, including the number of crashes I'ce had over the years, but you never know... However as you said, 2 recievers didnt save the pplane from the radio glitch that killed it... temporarily but still It's going to be a while before that one flys again...
