With my Supertiger...the ring went on the piston &amp; rotated freely. That was good. I did need to really clean the bore with a scotch brite pad and try a few times to compress the ring. It finally compressed enough for the piston &amp; ring to slide down in sleeve. Super good compression &amp; without plug in it turns over free. That is what you want. Do be very carefull if you file the end gap. Try the ring in the sleeve without the piston first. Capt,n</p>
