Right Flyer 40T MkII
LOREN,
I'm over the hump in PAHRUMP.
I have three trainer aircraft. a GOLDBERG EAGLE, a RIGHT FLYER 40 And another that I traded for uncovered I don't know what it is.
The RIGHT FLYER is the smoothest of the three. My 8 year old flies it and IT is his preference between the three.
We fly it with a OS 46 LA.
One tip that I can give you is check the firewall for the glue joint! My first one literally fell out on take off one day. GLOBAL said they didn't know anything about the problem but I read a review in one of the magazines that mentioned this same problem a few years back! This one had a bad glue joint also! I re-glued it with some epoxy. They painted the inside of the fuselage before they installed the firewall, then glued the firewall to the paint. ( I'm talking about the original one here)
Put floats on it and hit LAKE MEADE, YOU'LL LOVE IT!
