No problems at all mounting it there. The only thing you want to take into account in mounting the ignition module is to keep it away from any radio components, including servos.

And that includes a throttle or choke servo. Ihave seen guys isolate everything 10" back from the module and then put a micro choke servo in the cowl near the plug.
Absolutely. And to add to that, use a plastic control rod for your throttle. If you use metal it will carry the interference from the ignition straight back to the radio. Iprefer Goldenrod, but any plastic control rod will work
