It is amazing to me how many people must have slept through various Civics/US Government classes in school and that they also never happened to catch the Schoolhouse Rock episode on "How a Bill Becomes a Law".....
(A bill making it through the Senate is only one step in a process....)
Then you must know how admendments get changed or thrown out in the last minute.
