I used the Jtec pitts wraparound (
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXADRD&P=0) from tower. Unfortunately they are back ordered again. It's a close fit toward the firewall but it does not contact it. All-in-all I'm pleased with the install. Haven't had time to fire it up yet. That will be first on my agenda when I get back home. Glad to see some of you are ready to maiden yours.
So far I can't find any majors issues with this one. I was impressed with the alignment and matching of the cabanes and innnerplane struts, everything just matched up perfectly. Anyway, itch'n to get home and get it in the air. ACF
Just looked at the muffler Cannonball is using, and it appears the pipes are straight down as opposed to the Jtec I've got that has the down tubes raked back about 15 degrees, not that it matters that much. I've got the same one only a little bigger on a DL-55 flying my giant Sun Dancer, and it sound great.
