ameyam, are you sure you had to put 28-30 OUNCES in the tail to balance that Reactor? Sounds a bit beyond belief IMHO.

I have one of these planes (Extra 300SP) with an OS 70 Surpass II four stroke in it. Balances right on, and its AUW is exactly 6 pounds. Running a 13x6APC on it, it's nice for sport pattern but not 3D so much. I tried a 14x4 and that just made the plane too slow to me. I am not sure this is a great 3D plane with the weight and wing loading perhaps a bit too high for that. Just my 2 bits. Jon
