looks to be a good idea.....
But just some advice. I drive a forklift from time to time...not a big one its a 6ton forklift, but its got a 2.4d toyota engine, so its got ample power, it also has a 3speed box, and from experience, if you run it at 40km/h (dunno how much it is in miles) and turn it, it wil throw you into it. we have managed to almost tilt it at one time.
So for a safety feature(for the vehicle) the manufacturere installed a device that once you go over 10km/h and turn it as per normal, the turning happens slowly and controlled.
So...have a look into it, so that your servo maby turns slower than normal and not as fast and with the normal "jerk" action.....oh......and set your bateries a bit to the rear for back weight, otherwise youre back end will start to look like a kite on top speed.........
