I know of only 2 jet owners that swap their engine from one plane to another (I think it would be a royal PITA)... the easy feature to this swapping method is, it is ONLY the engine they swap over (I'm all about JetCats, so I know this can be done with them), JetCat offers an 'Install kit' that is permanently installed in each plane... ECU, pump, battery, gas & fuel lines, solenoids... etc. This will allow you to swap over just the engine to another plane, leaving the rest of the components in place.
