Only people I have ever seen using any flight data are a couple of giant scale 3-D pilots. It really isn't used except after a crash or if there is some glitching they noticed. The bad thing was after a crash the battery must be left on to get the data. The one time I was helping to pick up the pieces the batteries started smoking and had to be turned off before the readings were taken. A memory storage when power is disconnected may be a good thing but I see very little use for any data system for normal sport pilot use, giant scale a little.
