It would free us up to buy exactly the equipment we want as new stuff comes out too. 2 or 3 different brands of transmitters used to work with the same receivers. I figure it's only a matter time until they do again. It can't be that hard to program a receiver to decipher the coding of multiple brands of transmitter.
