30 lbs. is in the ballpark for a 35% plane without any lightening mods... Especially if there are redundant batteries, switches, smoke, etc...

My 33% Edge with 105" wing is 26.75 lbs, and the Extra is 106" and considerably bigger stabs, fuse and cowl.

The WH Extra is advertised at 27-28 tho... and I can see maybe a lb. in wood density variance in a plane this size...

It'll be a couple more weeks before I can get around to putting mine together, but I'll post all the info in a building article.
