RE: Royal C-47?
Hi!
Mine is powered with two OS Fs .26 engines and has power to spare. Actuall flying is done with 1/3 throttle.
Weight is 3,6 kg and I use my own made carbon fiber 10x4,5, 3-blade props. I have also made my own glass fiber engine cowls.
Yes! I have wash-out in the tips...how much? Well I guess around 1,5-2 degrees.-Just made it so it looked about right!
DC-3 is covered with chrome Oracover plastic film but prior to this the whole fuselage is covered with 25 g glassfiber and 24 hour laminating epoxy. All spackling is done with brown microballoons and 24 hour epoxy.
Engine cowls and some parts on the fuselage is covered in alumium tape (duct tape) wet sanded on a piece of glass.I also wet sanded the Oracover stripes prior toputting them on the fuselage.
I think .40 four strokes will be way to much power and also too heavy!
