That heli you are talking about was painted by the owner by spray cans and yes it is base/clear coat. Not a bad job for
spray cans. I have ordered some exspensive painting equipment to paint my FT body. I caint wait tell it gets here LOL

Not sure which tinted canopy you are talking about. The one in my
gallery is molded in to the fiberglass of the FT canopy. The one
in the club photos is molded into the fiberglass fury canopy
and he did paint that to..
