The muffler bolt came loose in flight on my Raptor 30 V2 and I didn't realize it. The back half of the muffler rotated down and melted a crater into the skid brace. It does feel a little weaker that the other 3 legs, but it seems strong enough for normal flying to me. Think it's alright to fly on for a little while until I get a replacement or should I order a new one immediately? When I get a new one, should I upgrade to the carbon fiber? Thanks

I don't think it would cause you any problems.
But if in dought you should replace it. I would replace it
cause it looks bad LOL. Now for the carbon fiber landing gear
that is a cost decision(They cost more/to replace).

I think it kind of looks cool to be honest! I am guessing the muffler is a 2 bolt type, and the rear bolt backed out, allowing the muffler to "hang" and burned the hole? It kind of looks like the muffler was shooting such hot exhaust it burned it!
Hey Randy, in the pictures "club photos" the second to last row has a red heli with a tribal desighn and a "irridium purple" canopy or "wind screen". It this paint job a base/clear automotive type, and how or where do I get one of those tinted canopys (screens)? Thanks for the info...

It is a single bolt muffler and the nut on the back became loose. The muffler never touched the skid. The melting was done by the exhaust gas.

spray cans. I have ordered some exspensive painting equipment to paint my FT body. I caint wait tell it gets here LOL
I have christmas all year long.(something in the mail every week).LOL
Not sure which tinted canopy you are talking about. The one in my
gallery is molded in to the fiberglass of the FT canopy. The one
in the club photos is molded into the fiberglass fury canopy
and he did paint that to..

The tinted canopy I was looking at was the same red heli you were referring to...It seems to have a "purple tint" to it like that new Ford mustang thats painted "chameleon mistic" and changes from Purple to /Green depending on the light and angle....
I am a auto-body repairman/painter for a living, and just happen to have access to one of THE best automotive paint systems ever:
SIKKENS! My friend owns the auto-body shop, and does mostly late model, high end, collision damaged cars/motorcycles. He installed the SIKKENS system after using PPG for many years.
I just purchased a Kyosho 46VR that I am going to base/clear with automotive Sikkens, (not sure yet on colors/graphics), I am going to shoot the "chameleon" ($250.00 A PINT!!!!) on the inside of the canopy. Rather than the Ford "mistic" I am going to use a 8 COLOR CHAMELEON! the Ford only changes 2 colors!
