I think it depends on personal preference. Myself, I would prefer the touchscreen on the A9, since I am on a JR 10X, and feel that the JR roll&click wheel is a huge step backwards, but that is personal preference . . . I haven't programmed either the 11X or A9, so really can't comment much beyond that . . . . JR generally isn't too bad once you are used to it, although a lot of folks think the A9 is easier. To me, the best software out there is Multiplex . . .

Yes, I very much agree with you Tim that when JR went away from the JR 10 type touch screen on their top-of-line, too that darn roller dial was a big step backwards.
It was enough of a step backwards that I am no longer a JR driver...and that is with 30 years of flying only JR stuff....sob
