RE: Seagull Gee Bee Z
The landing gear has been pretty tough. Before I installed the gear I J-B welded where the 5mm rod goes into the top of the main part of the gear, and where the yoke attaches to the bottem of the main gear. I used du-bro tires set a little on the soft side. other than that they were stock.
The weight worked out to 11 1/2 pounds. Make sure you have everything as far forward as you can (I put the ESC inside the cowling) to get the CG right. I would try to get the CG about 10 mm forward of factory specs until you get used to the plane.
Other than that she flys great.
