who thinks a 20cc motor would be to big, they have them for 159.00 at hobbyking.com and i was thinking about getting one
It's not too big power wise. It is too big weight wise. It can be made airworthy by strengthening the wing center section empennage components/attachment points and by bracing the two types of stabilizers to each other. Don't forget, that larger servos might be in order if you are really going to overstress the airframe.
Personally, I think it would be more fun to find a good .91 four-stroke to power it. You're still going to have to reengineer the model to handle that much power without having to be very careful about speed build-up and the G-force being applied to the airframe.
