His recommendation of only running 30-40% on a dual rate is not an ideal pattern setup, and I would bet that none of his competition planes are setup this way.

Please elaborate, do you run more than 40% on your wind ? I'm talking about low rates, I only use high rates doing the stall turn, and only for a second at the top. Also, I'm in the Sportsman class so I'm not doing any snaps or anything like that.

since we are about stalling, i just remember my will not do a stall spin...when i put max ele and rudder it just more horizontaly circles down then spining down. is my cg off? or i need to increase the rates?
