I wouldn't own the non ringed FSRs when they came out. I wanted to be able to restore the fit with a simple ring replacement, hence my insistence upon buying the ringed version. My old FSR is gone, but I did pick up another ringed one a while back for super cheap. Unfortunately, one look and you will know why it was so cheap. Lots of baked on carbon. I didn't buy it to fly it as I have much more powerful engines today. I just wanted to clean it up and put it on a display stand for exhibition.
