Making it a little more nose heavy will make it more stable. I'm not sure if it will make it easier to land. If you have a computer radio you could put in some exponential. that would make the center of the stick a little less sensitive. I use it on my fun fly and 3d planes that have lots of throw in the surfaces for aerobatics but helps make the landings easier.
