I have a great planes tiger moth, I flew it for the first time today. I found that the plane is very elevator sensitive , I balanced it at 2 3/4 upside down off of the bottom wing .The guys at mt field said it should be balanced like a trainer , right side up , but know one can rec a cg to start with .Does any one have one out there and how did you balance it ? Thanks very much Dale

I balanced mine as per the instruction manual. Plane upside down C/G measured off the bottom wing. This plane is a little elevator sensitive. I used the recommended throws and mine is still a little sensitive.

Making it a little more nose heavy will make it more stable. I'm not sure if it will make it easier to land. If you have a computer radio you could put in some exponential. that would make the center of the stick a little less sensitive. I use it on my fun fly and 3d planes that have lots of throw in the surfaces for aerobatics but helps make the landings easier.

That would be a good place to start. I have a Futaba so its negative Expo not positive, if thats what you have also. I don't know about JR. I would start at 20% and keep going 5% more at a time until it feels right. Any more help just ask.
