Yes, in the highly unlikely event that they are the same I would still invest my money with the PB team because of the following....... the cheap switch is unproven in our application, it contributes to the continued R&D for future PB products, it invests in the EU and supports EU labour,etc,etc.

We are all free to spend our money on whatever we wish, however I think it pays long term to put a little more thought (and money) into what we buy in this hobby/business.
