RE: SVF today
Beeve, Bah ha ha ha! Hey, I was keeping the nose gear from digging in. That, and I only just finished vacuuming the rocks out of it from the B.S. (big slide) first landing. I could have gotten to 55 if I hit the high rates.
A lot of people have commented that the main gear look like the talons of a bird of prey. True, but that's only when the plane is right-side-up. I just noticed that, when inverted, it sort of looks like "hands up". Alas, I fear it will always be known as the "Surrender" jet.
Shaun, yep it's coming to Kentucky. It's the prototype Fei Bao Mirage F-1 that Pablo flew in early 2009. Only four were ever made and, as I understand it, this is the only one flying (and certainly the only one that the gear works). Looking forward to burning some kero at KY Jets!
