Hey Gary, I just got my 4* kit last Thursday. I have a OS .52 four stroke ready to drop in. Had a pretty busy weekend but was still able to get each wing about done; still have some sheeting to go. This is a really easy build but for some reason I keep making really stupid mistakes. Fortunately all were easily fixable. If all goes as planned I should be able to finish the wings tonight and it looks the fuselage will be a quick job. I had big plans to do all the mods but I want to get her in the air soon so I think I may build all according to the plans and then get another one to mod this winter. I really like the sheeted turtledeck and balsa cowl look that others have done.

How do you like your Canon 7D? I bought one last Spring and love it. So far I still have just the stock lens because all of my funds keep going into airplanes. [img][/img]

BTW, I put a Saito .62 in my Cub and that is the sweetest sounding engine I've ever heard. It idles like a Harley Davidson. Just when I think it's going to die it just keeps barking.

I have fallen behind guys. I have had a few new projects pop up along with a broken collar bone and some busted up ribs. I pulled the 4*40 off the board for now to build another Kadet LT40. I haven't been flying for awhile and thought I should get back to basics.

Aiden88. The .52 should be perfect in your 4* especially if you can keep the weight down to about 5lbs. My Magnum .52 4 stroke dealt with the plane with authority!

The Canon 7D? Er, it's gone. Since I'm getting back into motorcycles and racing RC cars, I had to cut back on something and I was made a decent offer. I have a pretty good Canon SX30IS that I use way more often anyway, so I'm rolling with that.
